Autism Resource Centre

Summer Camp 2013 This summer, we will be offering 3 different programs

TEEN PROGRAM July 2, 3, 4, 5 - $144 August 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 - $180 This program is for higher functioning teens with autism or Asperger. We have separated the 2 weeks so that we can plan activities for them throughout the summer. We will help teens to plan activities between themselves, collect everyone`s information, find ways to network with each other and plan these activities out. Meanwhile, we'll have a ton of activities of our own to unwind and have fun at camp. Parent participation may be needed for the outside activities. Please contact ARC for more information.

LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM July 8,9 10, 11, 12 - $180 July 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 - $180 July 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 - $180 This program will be focusing on life skills. Different goals will be set for every child as the program offers one to one support. We will contact you after registrations are done to discuss these goals with you. Examples of goals can be listed in daily living skills, personal hygiene, things around the kitchen, chores or even social situations....etc Specific times of the day will be reserved for individual goals, while maintaining a daily camp setting filled with activities to have fun.

OUTREACH PROGRAM July 29, 30, 31, August 01, 02 - $180 August 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - $180 This program was created to assist children with autism in other camps in the area. If you would like to send your child to another camp (Camp Centennial, Zoo Camp, Camp Renardi, Camp Discovery....) but feel that he or she requires some extra support, then we can offer that one to one support for your child. You will need to register for both camps and let the other camp know that we will accompany your
child. Some camps have modified their prices if you bring your own support person. The outreach program is available other weeks, if space permits. You can contact ARC to discuss the different options available.
