SeaWind Buffalo Ranch

  • A ranch of 400 buffalo who roam freely in a natural setting

  • Comments: The wagons with guides take you on a safari through scenic pastures in search of the buffalo. Also on site: a farm with rabbits, goats, sheep and ponies, interpretation centre, children's play structure, picnic area, and restaurant.

Le Pays de la Sagouine

  • comments: Enjoy daily fun-filled soap demonstrations performed by the incomparable Mr. Soap (English 10am, 1pm, 3:30pm and French 11:30am, 2pm, 6pm). Also, a goat petting zoo and interpretive centre.

Cape Jourimain Nature Centre

  • spectacular views of the Confederation Bridge and Northumberland Strait coastline, an historic lighthouse, fascinating exhibits, all in beautiful natural surroundings. just head across a short boardwalk to the Interpretation Centre. Our beach and walking trails are great for birdwatching and nature observation. To really appreciate the area, join in a guided walk or borrow an “Explore the Shore Kit” and walk among the hermit crabs at low tide. Find a special souvenir or gift in the Salicornia Boutique, and when you get hungry, try the deliciously home-cooked food at the Iceboat Landing restaurant.

Kings Landing Historical Settlement

  • a living history museum that depicts life in the 19th century
  • costumed staff live and work in the historic homes and trade areas, and demonstrate daily life skills. Visitors are encouraged to get involved by participating in a hands-on workshop in candle making or wool processing.

Science East & Jail

  • Brunswick Street, Fredericton
  • New Brunswick's only science centre with over 100 hands-on exhibits that teach the basics of science in a fun & entertaining way.
  • Also features an outdoor playground, many special events, exhibits, lectures, workshops and demos, the centre is located in the former York County Jail and many of the original features of this distinguished historic building have been preserved - the cells, with heavy barred doors, now house interactive exhibits, and the original pressed-tin ceiling panels and wooden floors can still be seen. Exhibits in the basement cells display jail artefacts and present the histories of some of the more notorious inmates.
