LITTLE BUNDLES: 6 weeks - 6 months
The Little Bundles program provides a terrific opportunity for you to further the connection with your new baby. Through simple exercises, songs, dances, infant-safe rides and swings, our youngest members learn new skills that encourage their physical, emotional, social and intellectual progress. Weekly class discussions provide a great way to meet other parents, ask questions and share tips concerning your baby’s development.
TINY TYKES: 7 - 13 months
Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises and introductory tumbling. As babies become mobile and acquire hand, arm and trunk control, they begin to understand that physical activity is loads of fun. This class is designed to help babies discover their natural abilities while enhancing physical and cognitive development.
WADDLERS: 14 - 22 months
Now developing a wide range of abilities, Waddlers are introduced to beginning tumbling and agility skills. Interactive songs, dances, puppet shows and a variety of special rides are used to teach and entertain. Swings, Adventures and Explore Time add to the excitement. It's so much fun to watch children develop physically and socially as their love of activity grows.
GYMSTERS: 23 months - 2½ years
At this age, your child’s attention span grows and allows for longer periods of focus. Emphasis is placed on age-appropriate balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills in a more structured format. Parent participation in songs, dances and games encourages positive attitudes toward fitness. Gymsters thrive in a program with fresh elements and a fun-filled atmosphere.
TERRIFIC TOTS: 2½ - 3¼ years
This amazing hour is filled with pre-gymnastics, structured games and independent exploration. Children learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency and strengthen manipulative skills. As parental involvement is gradually decreased, our Terrific Tots are showered with positive reinforcement for becoming good listeners, following directions and cooperating in a group.
Mighty Mites: 3¼ - 4½ years
Now participating in class independently, Mighty Mites take part in relays and more complex games and sports skills. Flexibility and agility are increased through more advanced gymnastics skills. Mighty Mites improve strength, fine and gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination, as they are nurtured and praised for self-reliance. The goals here are confidence and self-esteem!
Whiz Kids: 4½ - 6 years
Children thrive as they work on gross motor skills such as running, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, kicking and catching. This class is specifically designed to build confidence, develop perseverance, increase self-control and ready our Whiz Kids for group sports. Maintaining a supportive, noncompetitive atmosphere is key in reaching this goal. Children who learn to enjoy physical activity and sports at this age are much more likely to remain active and benefit from a healthy lifestyle.
