Hilarious Parenting Book

The title says it all.
I LOVE this book and I’m not even finished yet! After speaking with hundreds of moms in varying situations the authors discovered that many moms are struggling with “modern motherhood”. The book has a lot of humour but also offers real solutions for managing our expectations, getting rid of the comparison shopping with other moms, and judgements. My favourite parts of the book include a “Comeback Chart” for those annoying comments people make and the “Dirty Little Secrets” where mothers confess things like, “I let my 6 yr old watch Access Hollywood with me.” Hey, we all need a little news sometimes right? As the jacket cover says, “You need this book if: you consider going to the dentist your special “alone time”, you reflexively refer to the bathroom as “the potty”, or you’d trade your husband for a housekeeper.” Read this book and take a breath to laugh at yourself, and embrace your own realities of motherhood.
