For family vacation spots, Chalets du Havre in Richibucto, NB is definitely worth looking into. We’ve been traveling there with another family for a few years now and always enjoy it. The location, amenities and chalets are fantastic. Summer is especially nice with beaches, an in-ground pool and hot-tub, paddle boats, kayaks, etc… Winters there are equally enjoyable.
We travel there throughout the year whenever the urge to “get away” strikes us. Costs are reasonable and you’re only 45 minutes away from home.
The resort is also “pet friendly” which is a plus.
