Capture the creativity and the memory.
When my daughter was 8 months old I put a small canvas in front of her with four globs of paint on it and let her go to town. I took photos while she painted. I then framed the canvas and four of the photos of her creating the masterpiece in a shadow box. It made a great 1st Father's Day present. It can be done at any age and would also be great for grandparents, especially those living out-of-town.-Alison, mother of two girls.
