Take a favourite outside...

It recently occured to me while playing outside with my daughters that we could transfer one of our family's favourite board games to the driveway. I recreated the Candy Land™ board game on the driveway using sidewalk chalk complete with the special squares and gumdrop pass! We used the cards from the game and I walked up to each child and got them to select a card from the pile. It won't win any fine art awards but it did the trick. It may sound teadious and like too much work but it really wasn't. Alison, mother of 3
