Sunday 28 March 2 – 4 PM
Mount Allison’s Classics Society presents, in partnership with the Owens Art Gallery, the first ever Classics Day, a fun and engaging afternoon for families.
On 28 March between 2 and 4 PM, kids are invited to drop in with their grown-ups for an exciting afternoon of ancient Greek and Roman story telling and crafts inspired by classical masks and vases. You can also look at plaster copies of Greek and Roman statues from the Owens’ collection, which will be on view for this special event, and learn from Mount Allison Classics students about the myths and legends behind them.
This event is free and will take place at the Owens Art Gallery, 61 York Street, on the campus of Mount Allison University.
