Public Swim at the Pat Crossman Memorial Pool (Riverview High School). $3/child and $4/adult or $10/family.

Public Swim at Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre

The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre has three pools; a 25-meter six-lane pool for laps and various activities; a two-lane recreational pool for swimming and aquafitness sessions; and a second recreational pool with a slope from 0 to 1.4 meters equipped with water games, waterslides, a sitting and water jets area and a pirate’s boat for the little ones. Safety equipment such as life jackets is available for young children and non-swimmers. During public swims, clients can use water tubes, snakes, boards and training equipment free of charge.

Bathing caps are required for everyone except for completely bald persons. Bathing caps are on sale at the reception desk.

Public swims cost $6.00/adults, $3.00 for children (12 and under) and $14.00 for a family (2 adults and 2 kids). Call 506.877.7881 or visit www.dieppe.ca for more information.

New Brunswick Day Festivities

Dieppe: Venez célébrer la Fête du Nouveau-Brunswick à Dieppe le lundi 2 août prochain au Marché de Dieppe et à la Place 1604. Le bazar présenté en collaboration avec Par-t-perfect et les prix débuteront à 14 h, suivis de la cérémonie protocolaire, du lever du drapeau et de la coupe du gâteau dès 16 h. Dieppe Celebrates New Brunswick Day: Monday, August 2, take part in the Dieppe celebrations of New Brunswick Day at the Dieppe Market and Place 1604. There will be a bazaar, which will be held in collaboration with Par-t-perfect, and prizes starting 2 p.m. The protocol ceremony, the flag raising and the cut of the cake will follow at 4 p.m. A free BBQ, sponsored by the Dieppe Cooperative, will start at 4:30 p.m. and Art Richard’s show will round up this day of activities. Moncton: Join the Moncton Museum on August 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the New Brunswick Day celebrations! The Museum will be offering exciting activities for the whole family! A scavenger hunt will be held at the Museum allowing children to discover all the riches of the Province of New Brunswick. Also, they can make a beautiful bracelet inspired by the provincial flower and take part in other fun activities such as: Tug-of-war, an obstacle race, a giant parachute and face painting!
