Sugar Camp/Cabane a sucre

Visit to a Sugar Camp at St-Anselme Rotary Park. From 9am-1pm is breakfast by the Dieppe Lions Club (children 5 and under are free, $7/adult and $4 6-12 yr olds) and from 12:00-3:30 enjoy maple sugar tasting ($5.00), skating, slegh rides, sliding and music. Sponsored by the Dieppe Scout Association . Everyone is welcome!


Journée Cabane à sucre au Parc Rotary St-Anselme. De 9h-13h petit-dejeuner prepare par le Club Lions de Dieppe (gratuit 5 ans et moins, 7$ adulte et 4$ 6-12 ans). de 12h-15h30 degustation de produit d'erable (cout 5$/palette). Aussi, patinage, promenade en traineau, pente a toboggan, collline de glisse et de la musique. Présentée par l’association scout de Dieppe . Venez en grand nombre!

Winter Family Fun at Magnetic Hill Zoo

Come visit the zoo animals in the snow (weather permitting)and receive free hot chocolate & cookies (while supplies last).

NEW THIS YEAR, Briggs Maples will also be selling a variety of other maple products and $2 sticks for maple syrup snow candy. (www.briggsmaples.com)

Admission is a cash donation. Funds raised will be used to build a new tiger exhibit at the Zoo.

Public Swim at Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre

The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre has three pools; a 25-meter six-lane pool for laps and various activities; a two-lane recreational pool for swimming and aquafitness sessions; and a second recreational pool with a slope from 0 to 1.4 meters equipped with water games, waterslides, a sitting and water jets area and a pirate’s boat for the little ones. Safety equipment such as life jackets is available for young children and non-swimmers. During public swims, clients can use water tubes, snakes, boards and training equipment free of charge.

Bathing caps are required for everyone except for completely bald persons. Bathing caps are on sale at the reception desk.

Public swims cost $6.00/adults, $3.00 for children (12 and under) and $14.00 for a family (2 adults and 2 kids). Call 506.877.7881 or visit www.dieppe.ca for more information.

Family Sunday @ Owens

Drop by the Owens to see the newly opened exhibition, Walter Tandy Murch: The Spirit of Things organized by The Robert McLaughlin Gallery.

You might be surprised to see some of things that Walter Murch chose to paint including, a light bulb, sewing machine, carburetor, locks and bricks.

Walter Murch was interested in science and technology and was a close observer of the world around him. Choosing from a variety of objects, draw your own observations of everyday things.

Family Sunday at the Owens Art Gallery, Mount Allison University, Sackville. Family Sundays are for kids and their moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles and other friends. Drop in between 2:00 and 4:00 pm for art making activities related to our exhibitions. This program is offered free of charge.

The Owens is located at 61 York Street, on the campus of Mount Allison University.
